Effects of Chaotian Jar

With the effects of regulating menstruation and stopping bleeding, clearing heat and inducing dampness, Chaotian Jar is clinically used for treating cough, damp-heat jaundice, diarrhea, gonorrhea (increased frequency of urination, drenching and astringent pains), summer fever in children, hemoptysis, coughing up blood, and spitting up blood, and other symptoms.
Chao Tian Can belongs to a kind of Chinese herbal medicine, which is the whole herb or root of broad-leaved Jin Jin Xiang (金锦香), a plant of the wild peony family. It is bland, astringent and cool in nature. It belongs to the lung, liver and spleen meridians. It has the effects of regulating menstruation, stopping bleeding, clearing heat and inducing dampness.
It is clinically used in the treatment of cough, damp-heat jaundice, diarrhea, gonorrhea, summer fever in children, hemoptysis, coughing blood, vomiting blood, blood in stool, disintegration (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, leucorrhea, rheumatism and bone pains, and bruises and swelling.
