What is Liver Relief

Liver detoxification is a Chinese medicine treatment, i.e., a method to detoxify liver qi stagnation. It belongs to the He Fa of the Eight Methods (i.e., sweating, vomiting, descending, healing, warming, clearing, eliminating, and tonifying), and is also known as Liver Diversion, i.e., the treatment of Liver Depression and Qi Stagnation with prescriptions that have the efficacy or effects of Liver Diversion, Qi Diversion, and Qi Dissolution. Liver depression and qi stagnation syndrome refers to liver loss of detachment (liver detachment function abnormality), qi stagnation, with depression, good tai hui, chest and ribs (chest and ribs area collectively), abdominal (abdomen) fullness and pain, walking uncertainty, etc. as the main manifestations of Chinese medicine symptoms, so the treatment should be detoxification of the liver and resolving the depression in order to treat the root of the treatment, in order to achieve the organization of the qi, and harmonize the liver and the spleen, regulating the qi and blood, and channeling the meridian and other effects. Specific medication should also be based on the patient’s own specific symptoms under the guidance of the physician’s diagnosis.
