The location of the Du Du point is in the depression of the distal part of the 1st metatarsophalangeal joint of the toes, at the junction of the palm of the hand and the back of the hand, and the heart of the foot and the back of the foot. It belongs to the Spleen meridian of the Foot Taiyin, and can be easily accessed by sitting upright, touching a depression at the junction of the palm of the foot and the dorsum of the foot in front of and below the joint formed by the big finger and the palm of the foot, and pressing with a feeling of soreness and distension, which is the approximate location of this acupressure point. This point is mainly used to treat diseases of the spleen and stomach, as well as fever, such as abdominal distension, stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, fever without sweating, and so on.
