Peristalsis in the right chest may be due to intercostal neuritis, muscle fiber fibrillation, intestinal accumulation of gas and other reasons.
1. Intercostal neuritis: intercostal neuritis is usually caused by trauma, pleural thickening, mediastinal lesions, etc. When the patient suffers from intercostal neuritis, the symptom is often manifested as discomfort in the intercostal area, so the symptom of peristaltic sensation in the right chest may occur.
2. Myofibrillar tremor: myofibrillar tremor generally refers to the stimulation phenomenon of cerebral neuromotor nucleus or anterior horn cells of the spinal cord, and the symptom often manifests itself as a peristaltic tremor within a few centimeters of the muscle, which is generally caused by excessive exercise, electrolyte disorders, drug stimulation and other reasons.
3. Intestinal gas accumulation: If the patient swallows a large amount of air, or if there is an obstacle to intestinal emptying, a large amount of gas may accumulate in the intestines, resulting in peristaltic sensations.
It is recommended that patients should also go to the hospital immediately for relevant consultation when they feel unwell.
