The difference between the tetralipid test and the hexa lipid test is that the number of tests is not the same, and the hexa lipid test has two more tests than the tetralipid test, namely, Apo A and Apo B. The tetralipid test and the hexa lipid test are both tests about the blood lipid level in the body.
Lipid Panel IV and Lipid Panel VI are both tests on blood lipid levels in the body, but the number of items in the tests is different. Lipid Panel IV refers to the four items of total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL.
The Lipid Panel 6 is a combination of the ApoA and ApoB tests in addition to the Lipid Panel 4 test.
Both Lipid Panel 4 and Lipid Panel 6 (which is more comprehensive) can roughly assess the level of lipids in the body at the time of the test to see if there are any lipid disorders. If there is any abnormality, you should go to the hospital.
