The most effective treatment for abscesses is incision and drainage, and it is not recommended to use the so-called folk remedies, local remedies for treatment. When a pathogen enters the body and causes an inflammatory reaction, it is called an infection. Different pathogens cause different manifestations of infection, but the basic clinical manifestations are redness, swelling, heat, pain and local dysfunction. When the infection causes abscess, the best treatment is surgical intervention such as incision and drainage, and it is not recommended to use folk remedies or local remedies for treatment. Surgical interventions include drainage of the abscess cavity, removal of foreign bodies or necrotic tissues and organs, of which incision and drainage is the most common. The abscess is incised and irrigated to remove the pus, and then gauze or drainage tubes are placed to drain the abscess. Folk remedies are not recommended because their efficacy is not clear and their blind use may cause secondary infections and aggravate the condition. If an abscess occurs, please go to a regular hospital for medical treatment.
