Spleen deficiency and kidney deficiency can be treated at the same time.
When both Spleen and Kidney deficiencies exist at the same time, i.e. Spleen and Kidney deficiencies, it can be caused by Kidney deficiencies that cannot warm or nourish the Spleen, resulting in Spleen deficiencies; or Spleen deficiencies that cannot transport and transform water and grain essence to nourish the Kidneys, resulting in Kidney deficiencies as well.
Spleen and kidney deficiency can be categorized into spleen and kidney yang deficiency and spleen and kidney yin deficiency.
Spleen and kidney yang deficiency manifests itself in the form of coldness, shortness of breath, laziness, tiredness, loose stools or diarrhea at five o’clock (diarrhea before dawn), swelling of the limbs, or even abdominal fullness and distension. Spleen and kidney yin deficiency can be manifested as dizziness, tinnitus, loss of appetite, dry mouth and pharynx, and five heart heat (heat in the two hearts of the hands and feet, and consciously feel irritable and stuffy heat in the heart and chest) and so on.
Therefore, when kidney deficiency and spleen deficiency co-exist, they can be treated together, and the spleen and kidney should be tonified to benefit both at the same time. If medication is needed, it is recommended that the patient should go to the hospital in time and be guided by the doctor for medication after identification.
