How to self-correct a crooked mouth

Crooked mouth, i.e., crooked corners of the mouth, is divided into two categories: physiological and pathological. Physiology is generally caused by long-term expression and chewing habits, can be self-corrected through behavior; but pathology is often caused by facial nerve paralysis, malocclusion, difficult to self-correct, need to be targeted treatment.
1. Physiological: Long-term unilateral chewing and inconsistent expression habits can lead to crooked corners of the mouth, and such patients can realize self-correction by correcting their daily chewing and expression habits. But need to pay attention to long-term persistence.
2. Pathological: common in facial nerve paralysis and malocclusion, these two types of patients only through self-correction is difficult to cure, must be systematic formal treatment.
Patients with facial nerve paralysis need to be treated through physiotherapy, acupuncture, use of nutritive drugs such as vitamin B12, etc., and in severe cases, surgery is even required; patients with malocclusion need orthodontic treatment or orthodontic orthognathic joint treatment.
