How to correct astigmatism

Astigmatism may be caused by congenital factors or acquired factors. When astigmatism does not affect normal vision, it can be observed in general, but if it affects the normal vision of both eyes, it needs to be corrected in time, including framed glasses, corneal contact lenses, surgery and other corrective methods.
1. Frame glasses: For astigmatism combined with myopia, frame glasses are a convenient and popular way of correction.
2. Corneal contact lenses: For high astigmatism or irregular astigmatism, if the correction effect of wearing frame glasses is not good, you can go to the doctor for examination and prescription of corneal contact lenses to correct the astigmatism.
3. Surgical correction: For patients who have the need for lens removal and the number of adult years is stable, they can also choose surgical correction, such as corneal laser surgery, which can generally correct astigmatism within 600 degrees.
If the astigmatism is high or progressing rapidly, medical examination is needed to exclude the possibility of cone cornea and other diseases.
