The endometrial thickness of 1.1 centimeters is uncertain as to how long before menstruation, and there is no way to tell how soon you will have your period by the thickness of the endometrium.
If you usually have a regular menstrual cycle, your ovaries ovulate about 14 days before your next period. One week after ovulation, that is, one week before menstruation, the thickness of the endometrium should be 8 to 10 millimeters. An ultrasound examination of the endometrial lining is 1.1 centimeters, or 11 millimeters, which should normally lead to menstruation within a week.
However, if a woman is anovulatory and the endometrium continues to show proliferative changes, she will not menstruate soon at this time.
If a woman’s menstruation is abnormal, it is recommended that she seek medical attention to complete the relevant examinations and make a clear diagnosis.
