Causes of Rosacea

The causes of rosacea include heredity, neurovascular dysfunction, impaired skin barrier, and immune inflammatory response. 1. Rosacea has obvious family aggregation, and among female patients, the majority of patients with the disease are closely related to genetic factors. 2. Long-term inflammatory stimulation or changes in hormone levels may cause increased permeability of lymphatic vessels and blood vessels, increased blood flow, and increased expression of vascular growth factors, resulting in vasodilatation and hyperplasia. 3. When the skin barrier function of the patient is impaired, the water content of the stratum corneum decreases, and the sebum content decreases, so the transdermal loss of water increases, and the manifestation of rosacea is easily seen. 4. Both natural and acquired immunity can play a key role in the development of rosacea. When an immune inflammatory response occurs in the body, multiple cells in the body release neuroimmune mediators. This can therefore amplify the inflammation and lead to worsening of rosacea symptoms. Patients who are diagnosed with Rosacea are advised to visit a hospital for early and regular treatment.
