Knee control training for hemiplegic patients is a more common and effective rehabilitation program, including muscle strength strengthening training, flexion and extension control training.
1. Muscle strength strengthening: including knee joint proprioception training, bridge exercise training, sitting knee control training, semi-sitting up training, knee control training under weight bearing on the affected side. The above training should follow the principle of gradual and orderly progress, and pay attention to avoid inducing the common movement pattern of lower extremity extensor muscles.
2. Flexion and extension control training: the patient’s lower limbs are naturally separated, the left knee joint slowly flexes and extends from 0 to 15 degrees alternately, and when it flexes and extends by about 10 degrees, it is maintained for 15 seconds, and then straightened and kept in the slightly flexed position, with the center of gravity placed on the affected side of the lower limb, and the patient should avoid leaning forward of the torso and the affected side of the pelvis moving backward in the course of the training.
It is recommended that hemiplegic patients consult a professional rehabilitation physician for timely rehabilitation exercises so as not to affect the function of the lower limbs.
