Snoring, or snoring, is mainly caused by narrowing or obstruction of the nose and oropharynx. Female snoring may be related to physiological factors such as obesity, smoking, improper sleeping posture, etc. It may also be related to disease factors such as narrowing at the airway, malformation, and local tissue hypertrophy. Female patients who snore frequently can usually avoid snoring in the following ways: i. General treatment: 1. Adjust sleeping posture: Female patients can avoid snoring at night by adjusting pillow height and sleeping posture. Sleeping position may affect the rhythm and sound of breathing. If you choose to lie on your side, it will help you breathe better than lying flat. If you can’t guarantee to keep the side lying position for a long time, you can develop the habit of lying on your side by means of a pillow or quilt behind you; 2. Avoid bad habits: try to avoid smoking, drinking before bed and other bad habits. Smoking may damage the nasal tissues and have an effect on night breathing and the symptoms of snoring. Some people who wear dentures should remove them before going to bed. Some female patients should be prohibited from taking sedative and sleeping drugs before going to bed, some drugs may also lead to increased symptoms of female snoring; 3. Weight loss: If the patient has too much fat gathered in the neck, resulting in pressure on the respiratory tract affects the smooth breathing during sleep and produces the symptoms of snoring, a reasonable and healthy weight loss and moderate exercise should be carried out. Second, other treatment: If female patients are suffering from upper respiratory tract infection, nasal polyps, sinusitis, tonsillitis and other symptoms, resulting in pathological hypertrophy or inflammatory symptoms in the nasopharyngeal tissues, resulting in night snoring. The primary lesion should be addressed first, and suitable medication can be selected. In addition, surgical treatment such as removal of nasal polyps and removal of hypertrophic tonsils can be performed. If the symptoms of snoring occur occasionally in female patients, they can be temporarily observed; if they have already affected the quality of daily life of the patients, they can usually choose suitable relief methods according to the degree of their condition; if the condition does not improve continuously, or if accompanying symptoms appear, they should actively go to the hospital for targeted treatment.
