Do you still need glasses after cataract surgery?

This depends on the patient’s post-operative vision and the needs of daily life.

The preoperative IOL calculation is an estimate, and there may be an error between it and the actual postoperative refractive state, and this error will need to be corrected with glasses.

2.If the implanted IOL is monofocal, it can usually only meet the needs of one aspect of seeing far or near, so the other aspect needs to be solved by wearing glasses.

3.Some patients may not be able to perfectly realize the needs of seeing far and near after surgery, and some patients may not be able to achieve clear vision in both far and near after training. For this part of patients people need glasses to correct.
