High-frequency electric knife, argon knife and cryotherapy are commonly used in bronchoscopic interventions. High-frequency electric knife and argon knife are thermal ablation therapy, which combined with cryotherapy can quickly remove airway narrowing caused by benign and malignant lesions. The incidence of bronchopulmonary cancer has ranked first among malignant tumors in China, and 80% of patients have lost the opportunity of surgery when it is found. Some patients have airway masses blocking the airway, causing persistent cough, hemoptysis and breathing difficulties, which bring great pain to patients. Bronchoscopic high-frequency electric knife and argon knife interventions, combined with cryotherapy if necessary, can quickly solve the airway blockage, allowing patients to breathe smoothly and prolong their life while improving the quality of survival. On the other hand, bronchoscopic intervention is minimally invasive, which is not only less expensive but also safe, and combined with intravenous anesthesia, patients can complete the treatment painlessly. It is also a suitable method for early stage lung cancer confined to the bronchial wall, such as those who are not suitable for surgery due to advanced age, poor cardiopulmonary function or other reasons. For benign airway lesions, such as bronchial tuberculosis, bronchoscopic cryotherapy combined with balloon dilatation can rapidly open up airway stenoses, which is not possible with drugs, and significantly reduce the incidence of restenosis.
