Injuries around the elbow joint can easily lead to joint dysfunction, causing serious difficulties in patients’ life and work. We use the lateral approach, medial approach, anterolateral approach, posterior approach, and combined approach to perform release and reconstructive surgery for patients with different types of elbow joint dysfunction, and have developed a series of postoperative functional exercise programs. After follow-up, most of the patients received satisfactory clinical results, and some of them completely recovered their normal range of motion. This has brought a blessing to patients with different degrees of elbow joint dysfunction.
