After opening the pulp sealing pain intolerable can follow the doctor’s instructions to take painkillers (such as ibuprofen) or timely medical treatment for root canal open drainage. 1. After the pulp is opened, medication (clinically known as inactivator) will be sealed in order to inactivate the infected and inflamed pulp tissues, thus achieving the purpose of treating tooth pain; however, the initial period of sealing the medication will cause a certain amount of stimulation of the pulp, which will result in slight pain and discomfort, but the pain will be gradually alleviated in general. 2. If the tooth continues to suffer from severe pain after the sealing medication, painkillers (such as ibuprofen) can be taken under the guidance of the doctor to relieve the symptoms; if the symptoms are still not relieved after taking the medication, it is recommended that the doctor performs the open root canal drainage, i.e., removes the medication sealed inside the root canal and rinses it out repeatedly, and opens the root canal for two to three days to relieve the symptoms of pain effectively. It is recommended to consult a doctor for examination and treatment in case of abnormality.
