What are single-use virus sampling tubes for?

The disposable virus sampling tube contains virus preservation liquid, and after sampling, the head of the disposable virus sampler containing mucosal secretions from the subject’s pharynx will be immersed in the virus preservation liquid, and then the disposable virus sampling tube will be sealed, and then the tube can be transported to carry out the virus test. The disposable virus sampling tube needs to be used together with the disposable virus sampler, first use the disposable virus sampler to collect the appropriate amount of mucous membrane secretion from the subject’s nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal mucous membranes, and then seal the freshly obtained samples into the disposable virus sampling tube, which can maximize the preservation of the sample activity due to the virus preservation liquid contained in the disposable virus sampling tube. The disposable virus sampling tubes are sealed, labeled, and stored at a temperature of 2~8°C and should be sent to the laboratory for testing within 4 hours.
