Survival rate of patients with decompensated cirrhosis after complete clearance of hepatitis C virus cannot be generalized. Survival of cirrhosis decompensated after complete clearance of hepatitis C virus is generally based on clinical stage, surgery, patient complications and other factors, generally after receiving liver transplantation, the patient’s prognosis can be significantly improved, the survival rate of one year after surgery can reach 90%, five-year survival rate can reach 80%. For patients with cirrhosis loss of compensation after complete clearance of hepatitis C virus, surgical treatment can be carried out at the same time as drug treatment. Currently, the surgical treatment with good results is liver transplantation, and patients will have relief and recovery of cirrhosis symptoms and its related complications after receiving the treatment. If cirrhosis is diagnosed, early and standardized treatment is recommended to minimize the adverse effects of the disease.
