Lumbar kyphosis is a condition in which the physiological curvature of the lumbar spine bulges forward excessively. Less severe symptoms can be self-corrected by appropriate methods, while more severe ones require surgical treatment. Lumbar lordosis is caused by prolonged poor posture, such as prolonged stooping, prolonged standing or prolonged sitting, and relative lack of exercise, which leads to a decrease in the strength of the muscles around the spine, thus causing structural changes in the lumbar vertebrae, and then lumbar lordosis occurs. If the condition is mild, it can be corrected under the guidance of a doctor. If the condition is severe, such as when the surrounding soft tissues and anterior longitudinal ligaments are severely compressed and spinal stenosis occurs, it can be treated surgically. The most commonly used self-correction method for lumbar lordosis is the supine position method, keeping the back close to the ground, bending the hips and knees, letting the pelvis tilt back, tightening the abdomen when exhaling, relaxing the abdomen when inhaling, and repeating the action 30 times. Or prone position bow back and waist method, hands palm and knee joints support, abdominal tighten up the waist and back, inhale when tightening the abdomen and exhale upward to stretch the waist, this action is repeated 30 times, the effective exercise of lumbar muscle strength, to improve the symptoms of anterior protrusion. If lumbar lordosis occurs, go to the hospital for further examination in a timely manner, under the guidance of the doctor for exercise correction, to avoid lordosis aggravation triggering other diseases.
