Are there any side effects of Shunyata?

The generic name for Shunlnin is Montelukast. Side effects of montelukast have been found to be minor in clinical studies, with the more serious side effects including transient elevation of aminotransferases, which return to normal after discontinuation of the drug. Most of the literature mentions only mild side effects of montelukast, such as mild headache, nausea (not seen in patients with vomiting), dry and itchy throat, sneezing, and runny nose, which are well tolerated by most patients and disappear after discontinuation of the drug. Montelukast is a highly selective leukotriene receptor antagonist and is contraindicated in patients with hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose galactose malabsorption. Montelukast relieves leukotriene-induced bronchial inflammation and bronchospasm. It can prevent asthma, especially in patients with aspirin allergy or hormone insensitivity.
