How to treat mild fundic varices

Patients with mild fundal varices can be treated with medication, physical therapy and surgery to relieve the symptoms of the disease.

1. Drug treatment: patients with mild fundal varices can take oral propranolol, nadolol, timolol and other beta-blockers under the guidance of doctors, or intravenous injection of tetradecapeptide growth inhibitor, octapeptide growth inhibitor analogs and other growth inhibitor drugs.

2. Physical therapy: while the patient is undergoing drug treatment, argon ion coagulation can be taken, thus playing the role of hemostasis.

3. Surgical treatment: if the patient is ineffective after non-surgical treatment, the patient can choose to take surgical treatment, such as splenectomy, amputation, superior mesenteric vein vena cava H-shape shunt, left gastric vein – vena cava shunt, and so on.

Once patients are diagnosed with mild fundal varices, they should actively cooperate with doctors to take relevant treatment measures to avoid delaying the condition. In daily life, it is necessary to ensure sufficient sleep, do not overwork, and can combine work and rest.
