Headache after crying need to identify the cause, may be vasospasm, tension headache, respiratory alkalosis, etc., need to be under the guidance of the doctor to carry out targeted treatment, such as drug therapy.

Respiratory alkalosis: due to large and deep breathing during crying, CO2 is exhaled too much and paroxysmal respiratory alkalosis causing headache; paper bag can be used to cover the mouth and nose to increase the dead space of the respiratory tract, which can reduce the exhalation of CO2 in order to increase the blood PaCO2; if necessary, give the symptomatic treatment to correct the acid-base imbalance and electrolyte disorders and other conditions.
