The standard names of stage 1b1 and stage 2a1 cervical cancer are Ⅰb1 and Ⅱa1. Comparatively speaking, stage Ⅱa1 is more serious, but the treatment methods are not much different. 1. Stage Ⅰb1 cervical cancer means that the tumor is confined to the cervix, the maximum infiltration depth of the cancer foci is greater than or equal to 5 mm, and the maximum diameter is less than 2 cm. 2. Stage Ⅱa1 cervical cancer refers to the tumor extending beyond the uterus but not reaching the lower third of the vagina or the pelvic wall, with no paravaginal infiltration and the maximum diameter of the cancer foci less than 4 cm. 3. Both stage Ib1 and stage IIa1 can be treated with wide hysterectomy, pelvic lymph node dissection and consideration of sentinel lymphatic biopsy, and para-aortic lymph node sampling if necessary. Radiotherapy is also feasible for both.
