The survival time of the novel coronavirus at normal temperature after leaving the body depends on the surface of the object on which the virus is found. It has been shown that the novel coronavirus survives for only 3 hours in aerosols, and after 1.1-1.2 hours, the survival time in aerosols is reduced to half. However, the new coronavirus survived on copper for 4 hours, on cardboard for 24 hours, and on stainless steel and plastic for significantly longer periods, with live virus still detectable after 72 hours. The survival time of the novel coronavirus on human skin was relatively short, indicating that human skin is less suitable for virus survival. The results of the study showed that 80% alcohol could completely inactivate the virus on the skin within 15 seconds. Therefore, hand disinfection with an appropriate concentration of ethanol disinfectant can rapidly inactivate the virus. Novel coronaviruses are affected not only by temperature but also by humidity. It was found that in case of dry novel coronavirus, it can survive at room temperature for 3-5 days. However, if the virus is placed in a solution, the survival time of the virus can be extended to 7 days at room temperature. The survival time of novel coronavirus after leaving the body varies significantly at different temperatures, on different surfaces and at different humidity levels.
