Fundus haemorrhage only rarely resolves on its own. There are many causes of fundus bleeding, such as diabetes, hypertension, retinopathy, and some blood disorders such as anaemia and leukaemia, all of which can cause fundus bleeding and will not heal on their own; fundus bleeding that is small in volume and scope and has no cause has the potential to heal on its own.
