Gui Fu Di Huang Wan is generally recommended to be taken before meals or with food, and is recommended to be taken under the guidance of a physician. The main ingredients of Gui Fu Di Huang Wan are Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, Radix Cinnamomum Cassiae, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, and Poria. Gui Fu Di Huang Wan has the effect of warming and tonifying kidney yang (warming and replenishing the yang energy of the kidneys) and can be used in the treatment of lumbar and knee soreness and weakness (a feeling of soreness and weakness of the lumbar and knees), cold limbs and frequent urination caused by deficiency of kidney yang (lack of yang energy of the kidneys). Adverse effects of this product is not clear, contraindications are prohibited for pregnant women. It should be noted that this drug should not be taken by people with cold and fever and internal heat of Yin deficiency, and it is advisable to abstain from sexual intercourse and avoid indigestible food during the period of taking the drug.
