Zhebeimu, with the effects of clearing heat, resolving phlegm and relieving cough, detoxifying and dispersing knots and eliminating carbuncles (evacuating knots and eliminating carbuncles and poisons). It is used for coughing with wind-heat, coughing with phlegm-fire, lung carbuncle, mammary carbuncle, scrofula and sores. 1. Cough with phlegm-heat: Zhebeimu is bitter cold and heat-dispersing, with heavy bitter-cold and no sweetness, strong in opening and draining, long in clearing away heat and resolving phlegm, descending and draining the lungs, especially suitable for cough with phlegm-heat and wind-heat cough. The treatment of phlegm-heat cough is often combined with piper betel and platycodon to clear away heat and resolve phlegm, moisten the lungs and relieve cough. For wind-heat cough, it is often used with mulberry leaves, burdock and other wind-heat dispersing drugs. 2. Scrofula (mainly refers to cervical lymph node tuberculosis), carbuncle, carbuncle: Zhe Beimu is good at draining heat, resolving phlegm and dispersing knots, dispersing knots and subduing swellings more than Chuan Beimu, so it is more commonly used than Chuan Beimu. In the treatment of scrofula with phlegm and fire, it is often paired with Xuan Shen and oyster. For the treatment of breast carbuncle and lung carbuncle, it is often combined with drugs that remove heat and toxins from the body and eliminate carbuncles and knots, such as dandelion, fritillaria and platycodon.
