How to treat small kidney stones

Most of them can be discharged through conservative treatment, such as drinking more water, urinating more often, ensuring the daily urine volume is more than 2500ml, and eating more vegetables and fruits to alkalize the urine and promote the early discharge of stones. Do more vigorous exercises, such as running, jumping rope, climbing stairs, and also take oral medications, such as stone tablets. If the pain is obvious, it is recommended to visit the hospital and give intravenous magnesium sulfate and intramuscular progesterone injection to release the ureteral spasm and promote the early discharge of stones. If the patient is combined with infection, it is recommended to apply anti-inflammatory drugs for treatment. Because of the small kidney stones, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy or surgical stone extraction is more traumatic, so conservative treatment is recommended.
