The indications for hysteroscopic surgery for uterine fibroids are, firstly, that the location of the fibroid is in the submucosa or intermural fibroids obviously projecting into the uterine cavity, or cervical canal fibroids; secondly, that the fibroid has already caused the woman to have symptoms including abnormal bleeding or infertility; and thirdly, that the diameter of the fibroids is less than or equal to 5 centimeters. Hysteroscopic surgery is a minimally invasive surgery, but after all, subject to the limitations of the surgical method, deeply buried in the muscle layer of the interstitial fibroids, some need to be done twice, and some fibroids are relatively large in size, it is not recommended to do hysteroscopic surgery, and there are some patients who may be abnormalities occurring during the operation need to be opened urgently to do remedial. Therefore, before hysteroscopic surgery, it is important to improve the examination, have a good assessment, and choose as appropriate.
