What is the difference between Gastric Su Granules and Sanjiu Gastritis?

Sanjiu Gastro-Thai refers to Sanjiu Gastro-Thai Granules or Sanjiu Gastro-Thai Capsules, the difference between Gastro-Su Granules and Sanjiu Gastro-Thai mainly lies in the composition, efficacy, and indications are different. The main ingredients of Gastric Su Granules are Xiangshu, Chenpi, Citron, Perilla stalks, Citrus aurantium, betel nut, Buddha’s hand, and fried chicken internal gold. The main ingredients of Sanjiu Gastrodia are Jiulixiang, Trigonella, Mucuna pruriens, Amphitrite, Poria, Scutellaria baicalensis, Paeonia lactiflora, and Radix et Rhizoma Dioscoreae. Stomach Relief Granules have the effects of regulating qi and relieving pain (relieving pain by unblocking qi), harmonizing the stomach and eliminating flatulence. Sanjiu Gastro-Thai has the efficacy of softening the liver and relieving pain (treating pain caused by deficiency of liver yin and liver blood), promoting qi and activating blood circulation (promoting the operation of qi to enable blood circulation), clearing heat and drying dampness (removing heat and drying dampness). Indications: Stomach Relief Granules are used for the treatment of qi stagnation type gastroepigastric pain, which is characterized by gastric distension, pain in both hypochondriums (pain involving both sides of the coats of arms and ribs), tightness in the chest, nausea (lack of appetite, reduced food intake), pain relief after warming up or vectored gas (farting), aggravation of emotional depression and anger, and defecation; as well as chronic gastritis seen in the above symptoms. Sanjiu Gastritis is suitable for stomach pain caused by internal dampness-heat, blood stasis and stagnation of Qi, which can be characterized by noisy stomach and epigastric region (stomach feeling like hunger, emptiness with burning), loss of appetite (lack of appetite, reduced food intake), fullness and acid reflux, hidden pain in the epigastrium (abdomen), nausea and vomiting, and so on. In addition, taking Stomach Relief Granules occasionally have noisy (stomach similar to hunger, emptiness with burning sensation), dry mouth adverse reactions; pregnant women should not be taken.
