Generally speaking, amniotic fluid does not flow in the 15th week of pregnancy, so if there is flowing water, most of it is leakage of urine, but it cannot be ruled out that there will be a small number of patients who are leaking amniotic fluid. Amniotic fluid is usually present in the amniotic cavity, which is normally intact and will not rupture, so amniotic fluid will not flow out routinely. Usually, amniotic fluid will only flow out before labor due to the pressure of contractions, resulting in increased pressure in the amniotic cavity, causing rupture, then the amniotic fluid will flow out. However, as the uterus enlarges in the middle of pregnancy, it tends to press on the bladder and other organs, so it is easy to have leakage of urine. However, if you find that there is a prolonged flow of water in mid-pregnancy, then you also need to consult a doctor in time, and you cannot rule out the possibility of premature rupture of membranes or acute inflammation, which requires prompt medical attention and symptomatic treatment.
