Are enlarged adenoids related to obesity?

Adenoid hypertrophy is not related to obesity.
Adenoid hypertrophy is mainly caused by repeated episodes of adenoid inflammation, or inflammation of tonsils, nasal cavity, sinuses and other neighboring parts, stimulating the adenoids to pathologic hyperplasia.
