What does a breast scab look like?

Milk Scab, also known as seborrheic dermatitis, occurs in newborns and is characterized by oily, scaly patches of skin on the head, some of which may resolve on their own. Milk crusts are mainly found on the head of infants, which is characterized by oily, reddish skin on the head; white, yellow, or brownish-black lumpy scales may appear, and these scales may fall off over time; some infants experience hair loss in the areas of the head where lesions are present. Some infants experience hair loss on the head where the lesions are located. This skin manifestation may also occur on the face, behind the ears, and so on. The exact cause of breast scabs is not known, but it is mainly related to the high secretion of sebaceous glands and hormonal stimulation by the mother. It is recommended to consult a doctor when similar symptoms are observed in infants to make a definitive diagnosis.
