Neurodermatitis of the arms, how to treat

Neurodermatitis, also known as chronic lichen simplex, may be associated with psychoneurological factors, with intense itching as the clinical manifestation, preferably in the arms, neck, back and other locations. Patients can be treated with topical medications, oral medications and physical therapy.
1. Topical drugs: patients can use topical dexamethasone cream, betamethasone ointment and other glucocorticoid drugs for treatment, or local injection of triamcinolone acetate injection to control inflammation and relieve symptoms.
2. Oral medication: patients can take Benadryl and other antihistamines orally to relieve local itching.
3. Physiotherapy: Physiotherapy such as ultraviolet light irradiation and liquid nitrogen freezing can also have certain therapeutic effects.
It is recommended that patients seek medical advice as soon as possible, use medication under the guidance of a doctor, and pay attention to skin hygiene to prevent infection.
