Nine signs of pregnancy with twins

Usually, there is no big difference between singleton and twin pregnancies in the early stages of pregnancy. However, in general, the early pregnancy reaction is relatively early and obvious in pregnant women who are pregnant with twins. If the pregnancy is confirmed to be twins, the doctor will inform the pregnant woman and her family, so there is no need to speculate on your own. Pregnant women can combine their own situation and pregnancy test results to determine from the following nine aspects: 1. Family history or medication history: Generally, if there is a family history of multiple pregnancies in both or one of the spouses, the chance of having twins is relatively high. In addition, the chance of having twins is also relatively high if ovulation-promoting drugs have been used or if the pregnancy is conceived through artificial insemination; 2. progesterone and HCG: because a pregnant woman is pregnant with twins, the progesterone and HCG values in her blood are higher than those of a singleton pregnant woman; 3. early pregnancy reaction is more obvious: because a pregnant woman with twins has a higher level of HCG, that is, human chorionic gonadotropin, the stimulation of the gastrointestinal tract is greater. 4. two gestational sacs: when pregnant women with twins undergo maternity examination, two gestational sacs can be seen inside the uterus; 5. two fetal heart sounds: under normal development of the embryo, two fetal heart sounds can be heard because of the two gestational sacs during maternity examination; 6. larger abdomen: due to the existence of two gestational sacs inside the uterus, the abdomen of pregnant women will be larger than that of pregnant women with twins because of the simultaneous growth of the gestational sacs. The abdomen of a pregnant woman will be larger than that of a pregnant woman with a single gestational sac; 7. rapid increase in abdomen: due to the synchronous growth of two gestational sacs, the abdomen of a pregnant woman will grow relatively obviously and rapidly; 8. fetal movement in different directions: two fetuses in the uterus of a pregnant woman can move in two different directions when carrying out activities; 9. obvious pressure symptoms: because a pregnant woman carries two fetuses, the burden is heavier than that of a single pregnant woman. The symptoms of pressure in late pregnancy, such as lower limb edema, will also appear earlier and be more obvious. If you are pregnant with two fetuses, you should pay more attention in your daily life and seek medical attention in case of abnormalities.
