Laryngitis is mainly characterized by symptoms such as pharyngeal fever and itching, pharyngeal pain, irritating dry cough and foreign body sensation.

1. Pharyngeal fever and itching: laryngitis is mainly caused by bacterial and viral infections, and in the early stages of the disease, bacteria and viruses stimulate the mucous membrane of the throat, triggering the activation of the immune system, leading to inflammatory reactions, causing the throat to be hot and itchy.

2. Pharyngeal pain: Inflammation of the throat leads to damage to the mucous membrane of the throat, edema, which in turn causes pain in the throat.

3. Irritating dry cough: Bacteria invade the throat, stimulate the mucous membrane of the throat to increase secretion, lymphoid follicle hyperplasia, which will cause irritating dry cough in the throat.

4. Foreign body sensation: laryngitis leads to increased secretions in the throat, follicular hyperplasia, secretions can not be coughed up as well as follicular hyperplasia will produce a foreign body sensation.
