Is amaranth hot or cool

Amaranth is cold in nature.

Amaranth has the efficacy of clearing heat and removing toxins (removing heat and toxicity from the body), cooling the blood and stopping bleeding (cooling and moisturizing the blood, preventing bleeding), and stopping dysentery. It is often used in the treatment of fever and diarrhea, leakage (excessive menstrual flow or dripping), sores and ulcers, canker sores, dengtoxin (an acute infection in which the skin is red as if painted), hemorrhoids, snake bites, and other conditions.

Because of its cold nature, amaranth is not suitable for people with cold spleen and stomach (weak and cold spleen and stomach), or intestinal slippage and diarrhea. The most common way to use Amaranth is to take it after decoction, and it can also be used externally as a decoction and wash, or crushed and applied externally to regulate bodily ailments.

If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult the hospital in time, after the professional physician’s identification, according to the different conditions under the guidance of the doctor for treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
