Do dental implants hurt?

Dental implants are now one of the most important methods of restoring missing teeth in clinical practice. However, many patients are confused about the pain of dental implants, which are performed under anesthesia and are generally painless. Dental implants generally do not take long, do not require hospitalization, and the anesthesiologist will apply local anesthesia to the tooth before performing the procedure, which can be mildly painful. However, the patient will not feel any pain during the actual dental implant procedure, but will only feel the surgeon operating. The patient will experience a slight pain after the dental implant, but this pain is well within the body’s tolerance range and will not affect normal work and study. When the pain is unbearable after the implant, you can take some oral pain medication, but it should be taken according to the doctor’s instructions. In general, you should pay attention to oral hygiene, rinse your mouth after meals, brush your teeth in the morning and evening, and take regular dental care. Also, you should avoid chewing hard foods in your diet. Although the procedure of dental implant is painless and the technology of dental implant is very advanced, it is still important to protect our own teeth in our daily life.
