Femoroacetabular impingement, also known as hip impingement syndrome, treatment includes conservative treatment, surgical treatment. 1. Conservative treatment: individualized comprehensive treatment is advocated, i.e., increase muscle strength, functional movement correction and other functional rehabilitation exercises, and at the same time, it needs to be assisted by weight reduction, control of activity level, application of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen and other comprehensive treatments. 2. Surgical treatment: Surgical treatment is often adopted for those with more serious injuries and obvious symptoms. There are two main types of surgery, i.e., open surgery and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. No matter which type of surgery is taken, it is to remove the abnormal anatomical structure and repair the damaged labrum to realize the non-impingement movement. Patients with femoroacetabular impingement should be treated according to the results of the imaging tests and follow the doctor’s instructions to choose the appropriate treatment plan, in order to achieve the best prognosis.
