Recently, our group has found that the immune-related factor TNF is associated with the development of depression in depressed patients. This study suggests that the development of depression is likely due to the dysfunction of the central immune function of the body, which provides a new direction for future research on the etiology of depression and the development of new drugs. I, as the first author, published the study in the Journal of Psychoneuroendocrinology, an internationally recognized authoritative journal (IF=5.81).
