Study of vertebral arch disintegration

The vertebral arch is part of the adnexa and has a physiological weak point, the isthmus of the vertebral arch, where the majority of disintegrations occur. Trauma, heavy physical labor and over-intensive exercise are common causes of vertebral arch disintegration. The disintegration of the vertebral arch causes spinal instability, anterior migration and slippage, compression of the dural sac and nerve roots, and corresponding clinical symptoms, such as back and leg pain. Examination is based on CT examination, and arch fractures, fragmentation and irregular fissures can be seen at the level of the vertebral arch, with corresponding osteosclerosis. Important note: proper physical training and appropriate labor are prerequisites to protect the vertebral arch from damage!
