Patients who experience dizziness after a car ride are likely to suffer from motion sickness because their vestibular organs are particularly sensitive. The vestibule belongs to the balance organ of the human body, and if the patient rides in a car with a fast speed and unstable road, such a situation will stimulate the vestibule of the patient and cause vestibular dysfunction, resulting in dizziness, sometimes even accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Patients are advised to make some preparations before the ride, such as trying to eat lightly, putting a ginger block on the surface of the navel, or using some ginger blocks inside the mouth. Patients can press the Hegu point repeatedly by themselves, which also helps to reduce the dizziness. If necessary, oral medication for motion sickness can be considered, which is commonly used clinically as Benadryl tablets.
