How to correct scoliosis in children

The correction of scoliosis in children depends on the degree of scoliosis. Mild scoliosis can be treated with acupuncture, physical therapy, traction, and immobilization with braces, while severe cases require surgery. There are many causes of scoliosis in children. Common causes include improper posture, calcium deficiency, and trauma. If the scoliosis is mild, physical therapy such as acupuncture, physiotherapy, traction, rehabilitation or immobilization can be used. If the scoliosis is more severe, surgery may be needed. Surgery for scoliosis in children is more difficult, therefore, a series of tests such as chest radiographs, X-rays, etc., should be performed to determine the exact degree of scoliosis and treatment should be carried out under the guidance of the doctor before surgery is carried out.
