Are my teeth sore after using a tooth flosser?

There is usually no significant discomfort to the teeth after using a flosser. The flosser generally removes soft tartar and attached food debris from the tooth surface by means of pulsing water jets to prevent plaque from forming. Some people will experience mild symptoms of soreness and tenderness or sensitivity, but these should disappear quickly. If symptoms are more pronounced and persistent, prompt medical attention is recommended.
