The difference between rosacea and lupus erythematosus

Lupus erythematosus and rosacea are two independent diseases, which are different from each other in terms of the nature of the disease and clinical manifestations. 1. Lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease, which is generally categorized into discoid lupus erythematosus and systemic lupus erythematosus. Discoid lupus erythematosus may appear on the face, producing atrophic erythema, accompanied by flakes of skin similar to that of fish scales, and the patient may also suffer from a certain degree of fever or general malaise, as well as arthralgia and other symptoms. 2. Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that occurs in the middle of the face with redness, dilated blood vessels, papules and pustules. It is recommended that patients go to a regular hospital for examination, and choose the appropriate treatment under the guidance of the doctor after a clear diagnosis to avoid delaying the condition.
