What are the main symptoms of breast tumors

Breast tumors are divided into benign and malignant tumors, and the main symptoms include breast lumps, breast pain, skin changes, nipple overflow, enlarged lymph nodes and so on. Generally benign tumors grow more slowly, are more solitary, more active, soft in texture, and have clear boundaries with surrounding tissues. While malignant tumors are painless lumps, growing rapidly, hard texture, and unclear boundary with surrounding tissues. Breast hyperplasia tends to have breast pain and lumps associated with the menstrual cycle, while malignant tumors tend to be painless. In the case of malignant tumors of the breast, the skin of the breast may appear orange-peeled due to lymphatic obstruction, or the skin may be dimpled due to invasion of the Cooper’s ligament, known as the dimple sign. Intraductal papillomas and malignant tumors may have bloody nipple discharge. And malignant tumors may cause lymph node enlargement due to metastasis of cancer spreading to the surrounding lymph nodes. If there is any abnormal symptom of breast, it is recommended to go to regular hospital for examination and treatment to avoid delay.
