As early as 2002, Ladas et al., a Greek scholar, was the first to report 5 cases of Coca-Cola transnasogastric tube lavage, successfully treating vegetative gastric calculi, and since then, there have been case reports from Japan, Korea, Spain, China, Taiwan, the United States, Turkey, etc. From 2002 to 2012, there were 27 (including 3 domestic) academic journals, 50 patients, treated with Coca-Cola alone and endoscopic Adjunctive treatment, in which 92% of gastric stones disappeared and only 4 patients underwent surgical treatment. In addition, the phosphoric acid in Coke can attack and break the connection point between the nucleus and the nucleus of gastric stones in the molecular state, so that the stones cannot coalesce into a mass. The stones become smaller and smaller and are excreted through bowel movements. It is worth noting that: 1. cola is only effective in patients with recently formed vegetative gastric stones, but not in patients with hairy or mixed gastric stones; 2. for long-formed and hard gastric stones, cola infiltration alone is not enough, and cola must be injected into the gastric stones under endoscopy to have significant effect; 3. for patients with gastric ulcers and other symptoms, cola cannot be used. For patients with gastric stones with symptoms such as gastric ulcer, cola cannot be used to dissolve gastric stones, because carbonated drinks are contraindicated for gastric ulcer, and large gulps can easily cause gastric perforation, gastric bleeding, etc. Therefore, the treatment must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor, otherwise the consequences are unpredictable.
