What is the normal body temperature of a one-year-old child?

A child’s normal body temperature is between 36-37.2 degrees, if it exceeds 37.2 degrees it is a fever, if the body temperature is lower than 36 degrees, it is hypothermia, both of which are abnormal. For a child’s temperature to be accurate, the temperature can be measured 3 times a day, once in the morning, once at noon and once at night, and it is best to choose the child in a quiet state when taking each measurement, not when the child is crying, eating or urinating or defecating. If the temperature exceeds 37.2 degrees, loosen the child’s clothes for heat dissipation and retest the temperature. If the fever is really high, physical cooling can be done, such as a hot bath or a warm bath. If the temperature is 38.5 degrees or higher, you can also take oral antipyretics. If your child is sweating a lot, dry him/her up and change to dry clothes. You can also give your child sweetened water to replenish heat.
