Three good remedies for phlegm-dampness

There is no such thing as three good remedies for phlegm-dampness, such as Er Chen Tang, Liu Jun Zi Pill, and Ginseng Ling Bai Zhu San. However, the specific medication should be decided by the doctor according to the patient’s condition. 1. Er Chen Tang: It is mainly used for treating dampness-phlegm syndrome. Symptoms include cough with excessive phlegm, white color and easy to swallow, nausea and vomiting, chest and diaphragm constriction, limb heaviness (limb weakness and sinking), or head spinning and palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), etc. The symptoms include vomiting of blood, thirst, and deficiency of yin. This formula is not recommended for those who have vomited blood, consumed thirst, or have yin or blood deficiency. 2. Liu Jun Zi Pill: It is effective in tonifying the spleen and benefiting the vital energy, drying dampness and resolving phlegm (removing phlegm in the body with dampness-drying drugs). It is used for weak spleen and stomach, resulting in poor food intake, deficiency of qi and phlegm, abdominal distension and loose stools (thin and unshaped feces). Not recommended for pregnant women. 3. Ginseng Ling Atractylodes Macrocephalae: It is effective in tonifying the spleen and stomach, and benefiting the lungs and qi. It is used for symptoms such as loose food, shortness of breath, cough, tiredness and fatigue caused by weakness of the spleen and stomach. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time.
